Out of hours working

Ensuring measures are in place to reduce the risks to staff and students working out of hours at the University

Introduction

Whilst most University activities take place during office hours, some take place outside of these hours. Activities outside of office hours pose increased risks, particularly where the staff or students are also lone working. Due to the increased risks of out of hours working, any such work must be justified through completion of the Out of Hours Access form below.

 

Arrangement and Guidance

The Health, Safety and Compliance Team have produced the following arrangement, guidance and access form for working out of hours on University premises:
