Meet your AI Chatbot

Here to support you with your queries 24/7 about university life.

Our new AI Chatbot

Launching in June 2025, our new AI chatbot will be available 24/7 – using artificial intelligence (AI) to help answer simple queries and help you navigate our website to access student support services.

Why use the Chatbot?

It will give you instant access to the info you need anytime, anywhere, without having to wait to speak to a staff member or wait for an email.

It's here to answer your questions about uni life, wellbeing, study support, campus facilities, student events and so much more. And if it can't give you a specific answer, it will point you in the right direction.

Help choose its name

To help us choose a name for the new chatbot, our Student Opinion Panel has provided a shortlist of names for you to choose in a vote. Take part in the Students’ Union Hot Topic to select your favourite.

How to chat with it?

As it's an AI, it's best to keep your questions simple and to the point. Some examples to get you started:

  • What events are there?
  • How do I access wellbeing support?
  • Can I get exam advice?
  • I need support in halls.
  • Where can I get financial support?

It can be found in the bottom right corner of most of our Student Support Services pages.
