Action Tutoring is a charity that supports disadvantaged young people to achieve academically, with a view to enabling them to progress in education, employment or training. We do this by partnering high-quality volunteer tutors with pupils to increase their subject knowledge, confidence and study skills.

Aspex is a contemporary art gallery based at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. Aspex works to support emerging contemporary artists and encourage people of all ages to engage with and explore contemporary art through its exhibitions, artist support programme and participation programme.

Beyond Reflections is a charity supporting trans, non-binary and questioning adults, their friends, families and allies in England & Wales.

Circles of Support and Accountability is committed to encouraging and promoting the rehabilitation, treatment, education and care of persons who have committed sexual offences, with the goal of reducing re-offending. Circles are also invested in the protection of and care of victims and others affected by offending behaviour.

Code Club is a charity dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from.

ECASS (Every Charitable Act Supports Someone) deliver community activities including organising free drop-ins, empowerment and signposting clinics for members of the local community.

Enable Ability work in partnership with disabled children and adults, their families and carers, to provide a range of high-quality, inclusive, professional and confidential services.

A race where teams compete against each other and the clock to complete a course by pushing, pulling, carrying and lifting the gun and limber (the action gear) which may be in phases (actions) and includes obstacles and mechanical aides, (walls, chasms and rigging gear) but will include drills to partially disassemble the action gear within the rules and subject to penalties of the competition.

The Final Straw Foundation are a registered charity working with local communities and businesses to highlight the impact of plastic pollution on our environment and to try to minimise the amount of plastic entering our local seas and wider oceans.

GoodGym is a community of people who get fit by doing good. They run, walk, and cycle to help local community organisations and isolated older people by doing practical tasks.

The Guildhall, a majestic building at the heart of the city, has a standing concert capacity of 2,500 and is known for presenting first class entertainment, conferences, weddings and events; attracting an average of 220,000 people per year. They will be recruiting for 3 large events:
- Dance Live! is an exciting dance event for schools and colleges brought to you by The Guildhall Trust.
- Presenting the best in comic, film, TV and pop culture entertainment in the largest family-friendly Comic Con of its kind!
- Takedown Festival is an independent alternative-rock and metal music festival at the Portsmouth Guildhall which spans across 5 stages.

Every day of every week you can find us playing our part, broadening our horizons and getting stuck into the great outdoors. We have more than 15,600 adult volunteers and young people between 6 and 25 years of age enjoying fun and adventure while learning the skills they need for whatever life throws at them.

The children participate in after-school sessions that will leave them ‘wowed’ and amazed whilst practising their curriculum maths. Many courses at the University of Portsmouth let you do a year's work placement, short-term placements or a self-employed placement. Your first point of contact will be your placement office in your Faculty who will be attending the festival.

PARCS is an organisation based in Portsmouth which works with people who have been sexually violated at any time and/or experienced domestic abuse. PARCS provides free specialist counselling and psychotherapy to all genders, aged 5 and above.

As well as our regular and special services, Portsmouth Cathedral is home to a number of events and concerts throughout the year including music and exhibitions.

Volunteering Futures is a 2 year funded project by the Arts Council England (ACE) which is seeking to make volunteering across the country more accessible. Portsmouth City Council have received funding for a Project Officer who is seeking a group of volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds who can provide insight as to accessibility, barriers, and opinions on current and future volunteering infrastructure and opportunities.

Portsmouth Forest School's aim is to get local people of all ages and backgrounds out into the woods, enjoying and noticing nature and the world around them and consequently feeling the benefits socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.

Restart A Heart is a campaign that teaches life-saving CPR skills to children. Volunteers and members of staff use their free time to go in to schools and colleges to teach CPR to our children.

Share (Portsmouth) was formed with the aim to make it easier for people to reduce carbon, waste and raw material use through sharing, repairing and re-use, through our two projects. Repair Café Portsmouth allows repairers to share their skills with people who have broken objects that generally aren’t able to be repaired on the high street, and Portsmouth Library of Things helps people to borrow items that they infrequently use. Both projects help to reduce waste and carbon, as well as saving people money.

Spurgeons create family hubs where they're needed most, with counselling, early years and family support. They partner with local councils, churches and communities to care for every family, putting children and young people first in everything they do.

- Bridgeway offers a safe space for young people to share their worries and be listened to without being judged.
- The Host Space is a quirky coworking space situated inside a church. It started in 2019 to combat the social isolation of home workers, and to provide an uplifting, affordable, flexible place to work in Portsmouth.
