International Relations MA – Your course starts here
We're pleased to welcome you to the University. We hope you are excited to get started.
Message from Dr Theresa Callan, Interim Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Welcome! We are delighted to see you in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
It's a rather different world than that which we knew but we all remain as passionate as ever about understanding it and together making it a better place.
I hope you have a productive and enjoyable academic year ahead - deepening your understanding about your subject area, catching up with your peers and tutors, and developing those skills which will prepare you for a successful career after your studies.
Welcome from Stephen Corbett, Head of the School of Area Studies, History, Politics and Literature
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome both new and returning students to the School of Area Studies, History, Politics and Literature. We're pleased that you'll be joining us this academic year. It's important that you are fully engaged with your studies, so we provide a wide range of support, both academic and pastoral. You will be assigned a Personal Tutor who will help you to navigate support and opportunities throughout your study with us, such as the Academic Enrichment Programme offered by each subject area in the School.
I wish you success during your time with us.
Dr Stephen Corbett, Head of School
