This page details the criteria which must be met in order to be eligible to stand in the Student Elections.

Any current student who is on a course that leads to a University of Portsmouth award is eligible to stand as an Elected Officer in the elections. Becoming an Elected Officer means taking a full year out of your studies, so this is not a decision to be undertaken lightly.

These elections come around once a year and we encourage any student who is interested in the role to stand in the Elections. Becoming a full-time Elected Officer is a full-time paid role for a year that you can undertake as a graduate role if you are in your final year or if you are first or second year; taking a full year out of your studies, so this is not a decision to be undertaken lightly.

More information on previous election processes can be found here. This page will be updated with new information later in the year ready for Elections 2023.
