This article provides information regarding reasons why the University decides to withdraw your registration as a Postgraduate Research Student.

The University may withdraw your registration if:

  • You fail to successfully complete your Annual Review
  • You fail to successfully complete the Major Review
  • You fail to submit your thesis within final deadlines given to you in writing;
  • No contact has been maintained and your registration has lapsed;
  • Non-payment of tuition fees. Non-payment by the required deadline will initiate the Withdrawal of Services process;
  • You have not provided proof of your identification or qualifications at registration. If proof of identification or qualifications are not provided at registration this will initiate the Withdrawal of Services process;
  • You do not register or re-register by the start date of your research degree programme
