This article will give you the information you need to give feedback.

You are encouraged to contribute your views through your Departmental Research Degree Coordinator (DRDC) and Postgraduate Research Students (PGRS) representative on the Faculty Research Degree Committee (FRD) as the University values student feedback as part of ongoing monitoring and enhancement of our degrees and the student experience. FRD Committees will endeavour to deal with all issues brought to their attention and can refer matters to Graduate School Management Board (GSMB) and University Research Degrees Committee (URDC) as appropriate.

PGRS have the opportunity to feedback confidentially any issues regarding their research experience which they wish the University to be made aware of. The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is a sector-wide biennial survey provided by the Higher Education Academy designed to inform enhancements to the student learning experience. PRES provides information on PGRS satisfaction on a wide range of aspects of the provision and also national bench-marking information. The University circulates its own biennial survey The University of Portsmouth Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (UPPRES) in alternate years to the PRES to enable annual monitoring of PGRS satisfaction.
