This article will provide details on how to request a replacement parchment.

Replacements for award parchments conferred by the University of Portsmouth or the former Portsmouth Polytechnic (CNAA) are obtainable from the University if yours becomes lost or damaged. Awards are printed on watermarked parchment paper with the University crest and appropriate signatures.

The cost is £35 for one parchment and £10 for each further parchment of the same award ordered at the same time to a maximum of five. This charge is inclusive of VAT and Packaging and Posting by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Royal Mail International Recorded Delivery overseas.

To request a replacement, please complete the Replacement and Verification of Award form. Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email about how to pay.

Anyone other than the award holder who applies for a replacement award parchment needs written permission from the award holder.
