A digital open day will be held for students and staff to learn skills to improve and manage their own mental health.

The Solent Recovery College open day will be held on Tuesday 8 September from 10am -  4pm, with access to a range of educational courses run by trainers from Solent NHS Trust and Solent MIND.

The courses are open to anyone living in Portsmouth, and to all staff and students at the University, to help you become an expert in managing your own mental health and empower you to take control of your recovery journey or support someone else, including Living With Anxiety, Developing Mindfulness and Understanding Depression.

New course - ‘Adjusting to Life After Lockdown’

A brand new course from the College will be available from October, to help students navigate daily life after the pandemic. It will look at stress management and coping measures; combating pressures such as isolation, mask-wearing, and a range of anxieties we might be facing as a society. 

Date: Monday 12 October 2.30pm - 3.30pm
