We are looking for University Ambassadors to work in the following three areas. You can apply for one, two or all three of these areas.

1. Marketing & Campaigns

• Represent the University at our Open Days and Open Experience Days;
• Help with event set up as well as deliver campus, halls and coach tours to prospective students and parents;
• Communicate your experiences of university life through student panels and live Q&A sessions.

If you are currently on a postgrad course or if you plan to continue your  studies at Postgraduate level, there may be opportunities to work with the Postgraduate team and their recruitment events.

2: Recruitment and Outreach 

• Inspire and encourage young people (Years 5 to 13) from various backgrounds to progress to Higher Education;
• Communicate your experience and represent the University at recruitment and outreach events off campus such as UCAS exhibitions, HE fairs and workshops and activities in schools and colleges/sixth forms;
• Assist in the delivery of recruitment and outreach activities held on campus or delivered virtually such as subject taster days, residential events, careers fairs, student life talks and Q&A sessions.

3: Social Media 

• Utilize and develop your digital content creation skills;
• Create short and long form video content for UoP social channels (YouTube, TikTok);
• Create good quality, channel appropriate content.

Hours of work

This role is on a zero hour contract. You can choose which shifts to sign up for depending on your availability.

Pay - starting at £11.02 per hour.
