This event aims to explore some of the prominent challenges around developing new health technologies and seeks to provide engagement and networking opportunities for Healthtech businesses, enabling them to meet with a tailored audience of clinicians, patient research representatives/patients, academics, business development experts and support organisations. The event will utilise the b2match software platform provided by Innovate UK EDGE in order to tailor discussions and pre-book one-to-one meetings to optimise availability of clinicians and academics.
The event will take place on 30th March 2023, 09:00-16:00 at Portsmouth Guildhall, Portsmouth PO1 2AB.
We will have speakers and representatives from organisations such as Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust (PHU), Innovate UK EDGE, University of Portsmouth, National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), British Standards Institution (BSI), Department for International Trade (DIT), Wessex Academic Health Science Network (WAHSN), Portsmouth Technologies Trials Unit (PTTU) and Barclays Eagle Labs. The event will include main stage presentations on challenges for MSK implants and surgery, Surgery 4.0, Respiratory, Rehab and Mental health, round table discussions under different themes such as access to finance and funding, regulatory, health economics, designing a study, business development, and dedicated spaces for pre-arranged 1:1 meetings.
Attendees will have the chance to win funding to support collaborative engagement with the University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust.
