Unconditional Offers - why did you pick Portsmouth?
We are seeking participants who have received an unconditional offer from the University of Portsmouth for a place on an undergraduate course. The purpose of the study is to understand decisions that are made about which university to attend.
This study is concerned with how students make decisions about the offers they receive from universities. This is important because there is very little evidence to show how and why these decisions are made. We are seeking participants who have received an unconditional offer from the University of Portsmouth and decided to take up the place here.
You will be asked to complete an online survey and then potentially invited to an interview so we can learn more about the factors that influenced your decision to take up the offer from the University of Portsmouth.
Volunteers must be
- Age: 18+
- Gender: Either
- Staff/Student: Student
- You must have received an unconditional offer from the University of Portsmouth
The purpose of this survey is to ensure that we can interview a broad sample of students. None of the answers that you give below will be used in our research unless you volunteer to be interviewed, in which case we will ask for your consent to use your responses from this survey. You will receive a £10 voucher if you complete an interview (approximately 20 minutes).
If you would like to participate, please click on the link below to complete a short survey (approx 5 minutes).
