This study takes place entirely remotely. You will be required to complete 2 questionnaires via Qualtrics prior to an arranged interview which will be on Zoom. The questionnaires investigate your feelings about various issues and the actions of activists about such issues. You will then meet with an experimenter (via Zoom) who will give you full instructions and ask you to lie or tell the truth in an interview with an interviewer. You will then return to the experimenter to complete a final questionnaire.

In total the study takes 45-60 minutes; approximately half of that time is for the pre-interview questionnaires. Your participation will be rewarded with £10 and the chance to be entered into a draw for 3 £50 Amazon vouchers.
