Female student visiting China

Spend summer discovering

Broaden your horizons and discover new cultures alongside your studies

Join an international summer school to increase your confidence, travel overseas and immerse yourself in a new culture. You'll enhance your university experience and create valuable memories.

We currently offer summer schools in China (June), Malaysia (August) and Kenya (new for 2020).

Trips cost approximately £1500 and your place is secured by paying a deposit (usually £500). We currently have some funding provided by Santander and Cosmo which is divided so that all participants benefit from a small award. Larger awards are available by application and selection process for students who meet Widening Participation (WP) criteria. Our staff supervise and accompany the trip so everything is organised for you.

Email summerschools@port.ac.uk for further details and Expression of Interest forms, or if you have any questions. You can also join our UoP International Summer Schools Facebook group.
